I've been looking through the Sager laptops as I figured they were a good deal for the price and quality your getting. I have to be able to carry it around, so its limited to the 15 inch range, however I still want to be able to use it to play games and so forth.

These are the specs I've hammered out so far, so do you have any comments?
    -Matte Screen
    -AMD Radeon HD 6990M
    -Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM (2.2~3.1GHz)
    -IC Diamond Thermal Compound
    -8 Gigabytes of 1600mhz RAM
    -500 Gigabyte SATAII 7,200RPM
    -Bigfoot Killer Wireless-N

I'm ordering from PowerNoteBooks by the way.

If you're looking to game, those specs will do great. The only suggestions I have are to consider the upgraded 95% screen and an SSD and/or hybrid drive. Replacing the stock HDD with either of those options will make a huge difference in day to day performance. The upgraded screen can be compared to the stock models in the below thread:

I'll look into the hybrid. SSD puts me out of my budget, although I'll probably upgrade later.

    Thanks.
