Booted up my 9262 for the first time 5 minutes ago! :D

I can't believe how beautiful and sturdy it is. The screen is perfect, and the colors are marvelous. Quiet running, comfortable keyboard, and a wonderful carrying case in the Targus XL.

Thank you, XoticPC and NBR for all the info and service! Now to tweak this bad boy...

Call or email Justin @ xoticpc ASAP; it either got sent separately, or else there was a packing goof and they'll no doubt send it off to you immediately.

I emailed customer support and they said they were on back order, and they even offered me an immediate refund. Such wonderful customer service!

If they are so wonderful, why do you have to email them to ask where your battery is that you had already paid for? They should have contacted you to let you know ahead of time... Anyway, nice notebook. What do you have for an O/S on it?

The laptops are shipped from Sager, not from the resellers.

Great to hear about companies like THIS! All the kids at my HS are graduating and going to buy laptops for college. They are all going for Dell's because of there "Supposed" great warranty's. Why go for dell when you can have service like this!

So the reseller's relationship with Sager is so good that they are not informed by Sager of any backordered items? Don't believe that for a sec.

did you get that from eurocom?

I wanted that very bad but like the 1900x1200 screen.

I thought about telling them to install a 1900x1200 screen in the blue one but they said it would cost too much.

    so black it is.

    ya... but where-did-you-get-IT?

    ;)

hence my did you get it at ...?

    and it's a quad core with 8800s?

or is it the older model d900c? you said.

is it 901c? or 900c? i am confused.

oh, maybe you had it painted?

cuz there is 2 types of d90x

the d901c with blu that usually only comes in 1680x1050. and the d901c that comes in black that is usually 1900x1200

    well atleast at eurocom

    1) You could get them blue with WUXGA from Eurocom at a higher cost than the black(not justified) or
    2)Get it custom painted.

I have a dream, and that dream is about a pink trim with bubbles :D
