    One bit of information is missing from the predecessor post on this topic. The bottom case looks like it has a panel. It does not. You must remove all the screws and split the case open (which is easy once you get that). I'd had a couple drinks and couldn't understand why the panel wouldn't come off even after removing screws under the keyboard. By luck I stopped before irreplarable damage.
