    Thank you to all who offered advice on helping me with my laptop problems. Turns out it was a bad card. I was able to get it working by baking it. 350F for 7.5 minutes did the trick to reflow the solder. Hopefully I'll get enough time out of it to save up for a new card! (may get an extended warranty this time lol)

    Grats, I hope it will last you long enough :) Although I'm not sure if there are any extended warranties, let alone much warranties anyways on spare cards but I might be wrong as I bought mine used.

    it depends on the seller pretty much.most would offer just the standard 90 day DOA warranty though.
