    Hi all!!!

Ok, I've basically come a looong way to essentially get back to what I had initially planned on buying (though there was a lot of changing minds in between). To begin with, back a few months ago, my choice was the dell xps m1730, but as info of the 9800 series began leakin I hopped on the "I will wait to see what it does" train. Well, in a nutshell I went from being fixed on getting a 9262 with 9800GT's down to getting a 8660 because it was simply overkill for my occasional gaming spree. Then out of the blue did I find someone who sold their completely new dell xps 1730 for about half the listed price (8800 gtx sli, 4GB ram, 2.5ghz duo, 360 GB laady daadi daa)...so I just couldn't resist :D

Aaanyway...so far I am EXCEPTIONALLY happy, everything works perfectly, the machine is sturdy as hell, and the lights make it quite the spaceship indeed! (can't remember who said that, credit to them anyway :p).

Now that I finally have a beast, I wanted to get some advice on a few tests I should run. For starters I downloaded a temp measurement software, for Core 1 and Core 0 (whatever that is) I am getting between 38-40 degrees celcius when idle (is that ok?). Please let me know any kind of benchmarks I should want to run :)

    Many thanks in advance!

Yea, in the end the best cost/benefit ration is the determining factor...
