    Hello

I am an owner of a fairly recent CLEVO rebranded notebook (N24_25JU is the only thing I've found thus far). It has Intel Pentium 4405U processor and Intel HD 510.

I've been having an issue with the graphics core clock frequency. At idle it's 300MHz as normal and under load it's 800MHz or slightly more than that. This works fine most of the time, however when the battery is not 100% charged and the AC adapter is plugged in, it throttles down to 200MHz. I used to set CLEVO control center power conservation mode to "performance" but it doesn't seem to help in this case. Note when throttling happens I have to replug the AC adapter and unplug it so it would work normally again.

When I am using the laptop and AC is not plugged in, under "balanced" it sometimes falls to 200MHz but I am able to change it by modifying the power conservation mode to "performance". Under performance this did not happen.

It seems to me like it is a BIOS issue, but I don't have any info or anyone to contact on this. Since it's a recent notebook I was hoping I could find a fix for this.

I also mentioned it in Intel HD forums, but it seems to be CLEVO related not Intel.

It may be to stop over draw from the charger while maintaining a reasonable battery charge rate. Speak to your reseller about an up to date BIOS/EC as it may be being to aggressive with it.

It does seem to be related to it, when it was charging around 90%, it was no longer doing it (since the battery will take less charge when it gets full). The BIOS settings are very minimalistic and do not provide any control other than FlexiCharger in advanced chipset options. I was wondering if there might be hidden options that are toggled via key combination.
I will try contacting my reseller but the notebook is only a couple weeks old and they probably updated it to latest BIOS version already.

No, the stock BIOS has always been fairly minimalistic. The only way to unlock additional control would be to flash a custom/modded/third party BIOS.

Do you know which version you're running (BIOS version looks something like: 01.05.xx)?
