This should be helpful to our friends who live in SE Asia. You should contact a moderator or administrator on this forum to have them change your title to Notebook Reseller. This way people will know exactly who you are and the company you represent.
-
congrats on joining nbr. its always nice to see resellers represent the company they work for.
-
I just checked out their website its a lot better than I expected very well designed
-
nice!
do you ship to singapore by any chance and how much that'll cost? -
Will contact moderator for that. -
My English is not that good because it is not our main language. Hope you guys don't mind my simple English. -

Welcome! I could add you to my FAQ that I have posted up recently. Do you have a resellerratings.com profile?
Mr. Mysterious -
We can ship the product to Singapore. The shipping charges are approximate RM70 to RM100 excluding tax. -
Sorry for that, our main market is South East Asia. Resellerratings is not a familiar tool for Malaysian or any other here to determine the quality of the products and services. We will try to register an account there, but I cannot guarantee the number of feedbacks. -

That's all right, I'll add you to the FAQ anyways
edit: Added.
Mr. Mysterious -
Great to hear that. We have done lot of works on that. -
We have actually had a decent number of threads for people in Malaysia wanting gaming laptops lately. It's good to finally have a place to recommend for them to buy from!

I would think that a reseller can act as a company rep on the forums while they may also have a separate personal identity/account.
-
Huh...Once the account is changed to retailer, I cannot post new threads? -
Nope, you can just respond to people. It works well, though. You'll see responses (especially by Malibal and XoticPC) all over this forum.
-
Now, want to start a company in Trinidad for us? So we don't need to pay international shipping/warranties?
-
i like the carry in warranty
-
-
I agree, it's a really nice website. The only recommendation that I would have i to change the main link from adding a generic version to their cart to a link for customization. I doubt that very many people will ever buy the stock config without changing anything.
-
Thanks for everyone's information and help! I am listed as nbr notebook retailer from now on!
-
So you are Sager not Clevo resellers... strange.
-
-
-
I think that to get parts directly from clevo the company has buy a minimum of 1000 notebooks a month, which for a starting up company is not easy.
-
I think we should let them answer my question...
-
They can, we're just trying to guess. It's more fun that way (and, I'm sure we'll get a clear answer)
-
Your prices do look good! I'm currently in the market looking for a N8150. Any hope for an opening promotion/discount?
-
Sager is built on Clevo barebones.
-
-
-
-
Friend, there is business cycle, once we reach that step, we are no longer notebook reseller, we are notebook manufacturer. -
I Think what Blacky means is that instead of becoming Sager reseller why not become Clevo Builder like some of the retailer here eg: Kobalt , Mythlogic , Logical Blue One etc .
Those Clevo builder buys Clevo barebones , assemble it and support the warranty themself , in a way they are mini version of Sager , but they are not notebook manufacturer lol
Also Sager reseller around here most were based in US -
You will notice that they are selling their own brand although it is built on Clevo barebones. -
I think it's a right step in the direction to wanting to develop your own brands. Once the business and customer base is big enough, that would be a good time to transition from Sager to Clevo. This enables bigger margins and higher flexibility.
-
Yep, but they'd have to get the customer base, first. 1k laptops a month (minimum to order from Clevo) will be tough for a while.
-
I see, now that makes sense then.
Yeah, 1k units is a bit too much. I mean, if the value of a barebone is around 500-700 USD then you need about $1 million for startup! -
is it possible from you guys to buy nvidia gtx 580m sli in retail price?
-
Yes. 10char
-
wow i said all that before about the 1k notebooks
-
-
No problem, glad to have a reseller for our Malaysian visitors
-
What is it with some resellers and the 6970m?
-
Hmm i wonder if there are any taxes or duties involved when shipping from Malaysia to Singapore
-
theres high demand due to some iMacs using them, and the 485m is only used in clevo notebooks, whereas the 6970m is found in alienware as well as other manufacturer's.
-
although some of these resellers make you think they will NEVER sell the 6970m, MALIBAL, KOBALT, and now illeGear. They should put them as unavailable if the only problem is availability. -
I'm in Thailand and would be interested in the NP5165. How much would shipping and taxes be?
Greeting to all!! We are Malaysia Sager Reseller.
