Hi, many of you have already heard this story, Ive been reading this forum for advises about my first laptop buy, and after days of research I decided for a Clevo system. Of course, Im still confused with all the models of Clevo and their correspondence with the different OEMs. Thats why Im asking for your help. Lets assume the budget is not an issue, since I live in Uruguay (South America), and the entrance of the computer here will be an utterly different problem. Basically, Im looking for a 15 laptop, with very high performance. Though Im just an occasional gamer, I do play games. But the most important use will be office suites, web surfing and multimedia. I would like to know which are the Clevo 15 available barebones, and any customization you want to recommend me.
Thank you very much.

For barebones, I believe RJTech can do that for you. As for 15", the Clevo M860TU (Sager NP8662) is the most powerful 15" notebook you can get.

^^ ill second that but not sure about the suplyer.

Get the NP8662 with a Core2Duo if you care about better battery life or with a Q9000 if you don't. I recommend a 500GB 7200 RPM drive, no Turbo Memory, 3-4GB of RAM and an NC2000 cooler. You won't be disappointed.

I can vouch for rjtech. I ordered my barebones from there. Service has been everything i expected. and you can select that you want them to put it together or just box the parts you want up and ship it to you.

Thanks for your answers.

I just recently purchased a barebones M860ETU from R&J Tech. Link here.

Ok, I've seen issues with the heat and loud when you are playing games. It seems normal when you are forcing the laptop. My question is, when you are browsing the web or using word, how noisy it is? and how heat it is?

I don't hear any noise on mine, a little when I'm gaming.. My temperatures are fine, but some ppl have hot hdds running in the 60s.
After 2 hours of left 4 dead with both cores at 100% :
cpu 60c max
gpu 77c max
hdd 53c max
If I download large files or install lots of stuff my hdd can go up to 57c.
Guess what? another Clevo fan (Also asking for your help)
