Hello guys, I decided to share my experience of using HASEE K650C - i7 D3 which I bought earlier this year during a business trip in China.

In this post I will tell you about:

    1. What is HASEE and where to buy it.
    2. HASEE K650C-i7 D3 tech info
    3. My Experience using HASEE K650C-7 D3

What is HASEE and where to buy it.

    1. HASEE is OEM consumer electronics manufacturer situated in Shenzhen, China. They are established in 1995 and mainly focused on manufacturing OEM only and haven't been selling retail until recent time. More detailed info you can find on their official web site.
    2. Currently they have wide variety range of consumer PCs and laptops, they sell only in China, but goods are available for reship. Their official e-shop

My Experience Using Hasee K650C-7 D3

As I mentioned before I purchased my laptop in China, during promo show in Shenzhen for approx 1100 USD. Current price ~830 USD Package Includ ed gaming mouse, headphones, mouse pad and a case. Model number as follows:

K - stands for laptop series type

650C - laptop vercion number (first number screen size, 6 for 15 inch, 7 for 17 inch)

    i7 - onboard processor

    D1/D2/D3 - RAM memory 2/4/8GB

Laptop worked well for 5 months, after 2 months of usage USB hub with 2 USB 3.0 ports and 1 eSATA port died. I had external glitchy USB modem which was always connected to the laptop, and had a bug of random reboots, which is probably main reason why the USB Hub died. After 5 months SouthNorth Bridge died due to severe power drops in my dorm. (Building was just finished when I had to move in and they have still been working causing unstable power supply). There was no power on motherboard at all. HASEE officially provide the motherboard and processor service warranty for 1 year. And I've been trying to contact HASEE official support, by mail/phone/etc., However received no answer. So I had to replace the Bridge myself, which cost me about 200 USD. After replacement USB Hub started working normal, however it took 20 secs for laptop to boot into BIOS which led me to further research about my laptop. I figured out that K650C-i7 and Clevo W350ST/ Sager NP7370 are basically same laptop with different configuration of additional components. According to info i got Clevo and Sager are re-branding Hasee products and selling outside China, providing extended customer service and support. For anyone willing to purchase this laptop outside China I recommend to spend a little more and buy from Clevo or Sager, since they have better support and customer care services.

How to update K650C-i7 D3 BIOS

will update soon but process is basically same as for Clevo and Sager laptops

How to modify K650C-i7 D3 BIOS (UEFI boot) logo

    will update soon

I will Update this post with more info and photos as soon as I get back to dorm from brake. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
