Hey everyone, new NP5793 owner here and I LOVE IT, not a single complaint except I wish it fit in my backpack ;)

Ok, according to everest with light (a slow torrent or two running) usage my 200GB Seagate SATA-300 HDD seems to idle around 50-52 degrees C...

    Is this too high?

My desktop WD 10k raptor didn't even get this warm...

It's a little on the warm side, but nothing harmful. My Dell's HDD normally runs at 35-50 degrees and I haven't had any problems.

Don`t worry about it. My hdd peaks at 53-54 when on full activity, but stays usually at 45-47C; it`s normal, operating temps for your seagate are 0-60 C.
