Hello Guys,

The Notebook worked fine untill yesterday when i noticed a bip sound and the 3 icons Num Lock + Cap Lock + Scroll Lock blinking all together. At this point starts run also the Fan and the laptop begin to hang up,sometime also it opens programs itself, in example the task manager and switch from one to another like CRAZY!
I Formatted the system but didnt help.Even during format the 3 icons was blinking and bipping!
I dont know what to do else.

It sems like a virus to me.Did you do a full format?
When it works could you take a look at temperatures? Is the BIOS all right?Try to run a RAM test,HDD test when it works. -
Well i did a FULL FORMAT and temperature is ok.
This blinking of the Num Lock + Cap Lock + Scroll Lock all togeher appears randomly.
Sometime just blink and bip and it doesnt affect th system.Sometime else i lose the control of the system and it seems the pc goes crazy, like as i told task manager start it selfs...operations are made itself like someone it many key on the keyboard and make right and left click of the mousepad at the same time.
I hope I am enough clear to describe the problem..
Full format should have deleted an eventual virus....
Any other possibility?
I heard that when all 3 icon blinking is some fault with Kernel or whatever..
I really cant handle this situation. -
Is it blinking/flashing randomly during use? or during bootup? or both?
I think it might be a few things...
1.) keyboard: if the keyboard or its firmware is faulty, then that could explain the issue
.... possible fix: remove/reseat the keyboard and its cable
( read here for easy instructions for keyboard removal)
2.) BIOS/firmware: you can contact Sager and give them your Serial # and they will email you the latest BIOS/firmware for that notebook.
.... burn the ISO onto a blank CD and see if it helped.
3.) Hardware component is defective: this may take a little time to troubleshoot the parts one by one.
(first, make sure to power off the system when removing/reseating a component)
.... Battery: remove the battery, use the notebook on AC power to make sure its not that
.... Memory: test the memory by getting MemTest86+, burn it on a blank CD, let your system boot up by CD/DVD, then it will auto check your memory ( read the guide here)
.... Harddrive: the harddrive might be faulty (doubtful though), remove it and see if the lights still blink while the system is on.
.... miniPCI cards (Wireless and TV Tuner) and Turbo memory: remove both the Wireless card and the TV Tuner (if you have it), then remove the turbo memory if you have it. Then see if the lights still blink.
Then the last things are:
Optical drive: remove the DVD drive and turn on the system to see if the LEDs still blink
Videocard: very difficult to test unless if you have another card to test with
.... but the videocard can go bad if its been damage by overheating... usually check the vents on it would tell you if its been cleaned out regularly or not
.... if there is dust clogged up in the vents (check with a flashlight), then the videocard might have gotten overheating damage
Motherboard: the worst scenario... but try everything else first.
Do everything in order, since that is the order I would do it in.
When you find the component that is the culprit, you should replace it. -
Dear Gophn....you always come when it needs! SAINT GOPHN.
i am running the system without Battery (wich i always kept plugged in no matter i know is probably dead because without power, the battery doesnt last even for a second) and its about 20 minutes that no BIP and no Blinking are coming......possible solution?
If so why the battery could affect the system in that way, making blinking the Scroll, Num and Cap's Lock?
Its a mistery for me.
By the way it happened during booting and also during normal using...
Now it seems that the problem is solved just by using only the AC POWER (knowing that the battery became just an "optional") -
great. you found the problem fast.
you can run the system fine without the battery.
if you want to replace the battery, it might cost more than $100 (100 euros)... so its up to you.
if you need to use your notebook when going around, you might need to get one, if you just mainly use the notebook in places with a plug, then it might not matter. -

Glad that things are well.
