    Hi all,

Friend of mine tried to flash his 980m G Sync GPU with Premamod but something seems to have gone wrong and now his P750ZM doesn't seem to post at all. He's trying to blind flash but he needs the stock vbios for the 980m G Sync.

There is a stock 980m vbios on the premamod website, but I'm not sure if that works for G Sync 980m's too?

Oh, does anyone also know if there is a keyboard combination whilst booting a P750ZM which forces it to boot from USB?

Completely blank, he doesn't even get to see the screen where you can press F2 for bios settings or F7 for boot options :(

Saw it posted elsewhere that you can't even DOS nvflash the 980m, if that's the case (not sure it is?), then are there any options available...

Wow, I am sorry to tell you but it looks like he is having the same problem as I am and countless others who have alienware laptops so I think you would be the 3rd Sager laptop now with this problem. I would contact the vendor right away and start the RMA process I am sorry I don't know any other solution, if I did I would be fixing my laptop myself, good luck please keep us updated!

Don't suppose you have a link to anywhere where others have reported this same issue do you?

Does this happen because there's a fault with the gpu?

    @Brent R.
I don´t think it´s the same problem as some AW Users have.

webster023 flashed the 980m and something goes wrong with the flash ;)

There is a specific vbios for G-sync models, they are not cross flashable.

Would anyone here be so kind as to upload their stock 980m G-Sync vbios for me please? Can't seem to find it anywhere online..

A friend has an idea about putting the card into his Alienware and booting up with the integrated video then re-flashing in windows

    Bump :)

Tried Premas stock version and we're getting a board ID mismatch error. Prema said it might be because the stock version that he uploaded for us may be for a different board version.

So if anyone here could help and upload a stock P750ZM-G 980M vbios, I would be eternally grateful!!

Did you get the card to work? I'm stuck after flashing Prema's g-sync vBIOS... wish I would have read this thread before.

We just fixed Dave's GPU! :)
(Flashed a different system BIOS/EC combo in order to allow the system to boot and then flashed a test vBIOS Mod to pin-point and iron out the issue).

So the reason some BIOS/EC/board combinations where having problems with the old Mod was an additional MXM ID check before allowing the system to post.

I have since added the hot-fix to the g-sync vBIOS Mod on my blog in order to reach 100% compatibility.

Sorry for the trouble & as always ENJOY! :)
