    Hey guys,

A very straight forward description of my problem:

    Model: Sager NP9170 / CLEVO P170EM

    1 - laptop boots up
2 - power and Bluetooth LEDs on for 1 sec then off, and cooler attempts to spin
3 - power LED blinks once again
    4 - laptop turns off
** no beeps and no image during the process **

    What I've tried:
    1 - only AC
    2 - only battery
3 - CPU and RAM removal and substitution
4 - off-board GPU, wireless card removal (it already has no hard drive in it)
5 - CMOS battery removal for a few mins

    Video showing what it does:

A technician that I've sent my laptop to said it could be faulty PCH. The laptop didn't even turn on before but the guy has brought it back to the "almost life". Sadly I live in Brazil and there's no Sager support. We have Avell reseller here with the same laptops but they refused to take a look at it.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

This sounds like dead board. Just get a new mainboard off ebay and you're good.

If it's a sager originally and you identify what parts you need then let us know. If you can ship it to us we could look at it too.

Can you try unplugging battery and charger, hold the power button for 30 seconds, then reconnect your power and try again.
