    the only solution i know now is to uninstall the hotkey software, but i think you will miss some advanced features then like Keyboard LED and further energy saving features.

    If you install any version since v8.0100 you can right click on the icon and disable popups.

    hey cool didn't know that but anyway on Win8 there aren't these hotkey icons anymore just the build-in ones.

    yeah i think that for 8.xxxx onwards it's win8 only.

    besides uninstalling which hotkey version are you actually using?

    Just right click on the hotkey icon by the clock and uncheck K/B indicator.

    So I actually checked it to see what would happen and it completely disabled all the popups... So maybe I had it backwards lol.

    Even the Wi-Fi toggle?

    Last time I tried and uninstalled the hotkey because it was annoying that every popups were disabled, except the Wi-Fi toggle shortcut :/

    On older versions you can edit the oem.ini file in Program Files(x86)\Hotkey.

    ShowOSD=1

    Change the 1 to a 0 and restart.
