    Hello,

I receivied my brand new sager clevo in november, monster machine, spent $2500+, 4k screen...

But most of the times *not always* when I start windows 10, all text looks fuzzy (picture attached), Ive read people were having similar issues with scaling, but Im not sure if its the same issue Im having.

If I restart the computer the text looks sharp and nice... so its only first reboot... very strange.

    My panel:
    Monitor Name (Manuf): SAMSUNG LƒFL156FL02-101

    Windows 10 Professional
Currently scaling at 225% with windows 10. (default setting)

Please help me fix this.. its driving me crazy!

It would be good to know what resolution Windows is reporting when this happens. The result looks very similar to what happens when you reduce the resolution below the native of the display. It may also be another one of Windows 10 bugs. Definitely sounds like a software issue though.

That was not exactly what I asked. Normally you are running at the 4k resolution but I was wondering if Windows for some odd reason changes the resolution you have set to something lower, giving you the fuzzy text and with restarting it, it reverts back to the normal 3840x2160.

Also, make sure you are using the latest drivers from Nvidia and Intel (if your laptop supports Optimus).

EDIT: I now noticed that your issue happens on the first boot and only sometimes. Try disabling Fast Boot in Windows power settings and see if it happens again.

Also worth checking the scaling has not changed during this first boot too, try adjusting the resolution or scaling away and back again.
