For international customers like me and you, they are the best because if you choose the "Global Warranty" when making your order, then if anything goes wrong with your laptop they will pay the shipping costs to send it to them. If it's just a small part that you need to replace, then they will send you the replacement part free of charge and they will pay the shipping so you won't have to be without your laptop.

They also have the most customizations/options in terms of specs with higher RAM speeds and better SSD options.

Their build time is very fast and their quality control is superb.

Was HID their own company before? Or is it now an extension of the bankrupt powernotebooks? I only ask because I placed an order with PNB right before the shut down fiasco.

Yea Donald was great to work with when he was with PNB. Although I suspect the company was telling him to deliberately tell customers that their orders are still being processed when they probably knew the company was about to be shut down. But glad to know HID is good. How'd you guys rate them vs xoticpc?

HID is great and all, but you might want to look into how you will be cooling the DM3 in India?
Im originally from New Delhi and i was there for a few weeks last year, and i had my Blade with me then, and that thing throttled like anything, unless i had the AC set at 15-20C 24/7.
The DM3 runs rather hot, and is more or less meant for US/EU temps (mostly) . So be very careful.

You should buy Clevo in India from its official reseller Azom. I have bought one and they are very good. Their website is www.azom.systems .

My P750DM runs very cool btw. Under load temps never go above 65°C.

Thats great, but the DM3 and P750DM are 2 VERY different systems, with a very large gap in the total TDP.
Heck the system in my sig never crosses 70C, even under heavy load.
