I have the newest version of HWmonitor but it seems the temps that it's giving me are a bit high for the CPU, and it won't even recognize the GPU. Idling HWmonitor has me ~48-51c with IC thermal applied that just seems a bit high to me, so I downloaded another monitor program called Open Hardware Monitor. This program is giving me more appropriate numbers of ~40-45c, HWmonitor has always been pretty accurate in the past for me so this has me a bit confused![]()

try some other temps monitors in my sig below to get an average.

Do you have the Optimus Technology software that turns off your dedicated GPU for the integrated GPU? If so turn off HWMonitor, boot up a game so you start using your dGPU, then start up HWMonitor and it should recognize it. My dGPU temps read within 1 or 2 degrees of what TechPowerUp GPU-Z says when running at the same time, so it seems pretty accurate to me, at least the GPU temps.
Not sure what to tell you on the CPU temps. I have IC Diamond applied and HWMonitor indicates low 40's at idle and mid-high 60's when gaming on my CPU.
HWMonitor Inaccurate?
