    System specifications:

    Clevo D900K
    2gb RAM
    7200 RPM Seagate SATA's x2 (Non-raid at the moment)
    Ge-Force Go 7800GTX

Not sure what the issue is... Looking for more opinions. I was thinking that both hard drives failed but I'm not sure if that's the most probable answer. Here's a short description of the problem:

When the PC boots up it goes through it's normal diagnostic screen but seems to do a quick flash where it would come up and show my 2 hard drives are functunal and attached properly. I uncovered the hard-drives to make sure all the ribbons were attached properly to the hard drives and the motherboard and they were. I then went into the BIOS. The sata was enabled and everything was set to what it should be. I then decided to load the default settings for the BIOS and checked to make sure the RAID controller and boot order was still what it should be and it was. After that the PC rebooted and showed the screen where it would show my drives, but it claimed no drives were attached. After those screens it gives me a black screen with the words "OPERATING SYSTEM NOT FOUND", This problem started a week ago when I started up my PC.

Any ideas besides hard drive failure?

set both your hdds are set on raid cofiguration try removing one hard drive whilst keeping the one which has the OS in it and then rebooting
also make sure the jumpers are in proper order before you commnce with the above mentioned suggestion just to be sure
put on on master and the other on slave
the one with the OS in it should be master ad set the other to slave this should probably help

Alright just ran through that. First of all I can't access the raid utility to set it up that way like I used to be able to. However I did try unplugging the drives and plugging only the master in. Still nothing was detected. Then I tried the other drive and same issue still.

theres always the option of performing a clean install on one of the drives and retaining the info on the other one if everything fails to work

Well I would do that in a heartbeat the problem is it won't recognize any of my SATA drives during boot. So i'm wondering if the SATA controller on the motherboard is shot, or if the drives themselves are having issues.

No problem, thanks for trying. It is under warranty I was just hoping to find an alternative solution instead of waiting 3 weeks to get it back.
