Planning to change to Win7 when that comes out later this month so I've started to think of hardware upgrades for my M570RU.

Thinking of getting this drive: Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD7500KEVT 750GB 5200 RPM 8MB Cache 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive - OEM

Now my question: It's a 12.5mm. Will it fit in the M570RU?

second question: I've never updated my BIOS before; I should flash it before I change my hard drive, right?

As SS stated (a bit bluntly), No, 12.5mm drives wil not fit in the M570RU chassis (or at least, not without modding)
