So one of the joints that connects the screen has broken. Is this a quick and easy repair? Should I just go to any laptop repair shop and they'll have the parts? What are my options?

I know this isn't specific to Sager, but I like these boards :p

    ps: 17'' screen. I have the np5793.

    Thanks

Highly unlikely, you have to send it to Sager I believe.

Sigh. That would suck. I don't want to be out of a laptop for three weeks.

Sager can usually turn around repairs quickly. We have have seen repairs done within a couple business days. If you are in the US it should take 3-4 business days to get to Sager UPS Ground.
