HI, I got a question how hard is it to upgrade the motherboard our self on the Sager NP9261? Has anyone done it? I was hoping that we can upgrade the motherboard and video our self. If anyone has done a motherboard upgrade can you post a guide here thanks so much.

I think the bigger issue for most people is that it may void your warranty by replacing the board yourself. I don't think there is a single seller out there willing to let their customers do a motherboard replacement and still honor the warranty. As such, I don't think there will be a lot of people doing this upgrade on their own while they have a warranty.
I cannot imagine that the board replacement is all too difficult, provided you have a large work space, lots of patience (wouldn't want to rush this replacement), some good working hardware knowledge, and as always good tools to use including anti static devices and so on.
For anyone that hasn't worked on computers, hardware to be more specific, I would not recommend this upgrade. It may seem simple to some that do this for a living or for those that are good at hardware computer work but anyone else it is probably not a wise idea to follow a guide to get this completed.
Just my two cents -
i have done motherboard swaps with my D900T. it is very difficult. if you are not an experienced desktop builder do not try it. i would say that building notebooks is about 10 times more difficult than building desktops. the parts are so small and so many damn screws that it makes it easy to get lost and start to panic.
