I've been waiting years for an updated version of this little guy. My favorite laptop ever. Any news?

No, only the current 13 inch and 14 inch with thunderbolt ports.

Ah, ok. Man that was the perfect laptop I bought it two times. Would love to see another one. I'd pay top dollar for it.

The market has moved on now, I know it was perfect for a few people but it has to have broad appeal.

That's a valid point. I'd be curious to see how many people would be interested in it. Do you think it would be worthwhile to take a vote, just to see what numbers would look like?

This forum is quite biased towards that spec, personally I could see such a machine with a Ryzen APU when they can also integrate thunderbolt should that ever happen. Then it becomes more feasible as a rounded platform.

When they sold out I couldnt find any, seemed like a small supply to begin with but maybe I caught notice towards the end of the trend or something?

It was gently phased out with a smaller run so yes when it was gone, it was gone.
