How does the glossy WXGA screen compare to the matte WSXGA+ screen? Is there a difference in quality? How do these screens compare to that of the Lenovo ThinkPad T61p? How does the overall build quality compare to that of the T61p?
Disregarding price, which is the better buy, the NP2090 or the T61p? I'll be using the laptop for Internet (and everything that goes along with it), Office, music/video, and gaming (Counter-Strike: Source and some other new FPS games such as Crysis).

I purchased the Glossy WXGA screen but I am waiting to receive it. Ordered this past Friday. I am not sure but in reading here it comes down to personnal preference between glossy and matte screens.
I went with the NP2090 based on these forums. Looks like a solid notebook you cannot go wrong with. -
I have the matte WSXGA+ screen and am very glad that I made the decision to upgrade to it. The higher resolution is much better for productivity than my old laptop that had a lower resolution. The quality on it is excellent and I didn't have any dead pixels or blemishes to worry about it. It is very high quality with a nice backlight. The viewing angles are very wide (especially horizontal) and the color quality is excellent.
I am not famliar with the Lenovo and it will depend a lot on what you need it for. I am very glad I chose to get an NP2090 as it is a very powerful laptop for such a low price and it certainly meets all of my needs at this time. It is very nice looking (in my opinion of course) and there are excellent resellers such as www.xoticpc.com and www.powernotebooks.com with excellent customer service.
Hopefully someone else can respond regarding how those games run on the 2090 as I am not a very big gamer. I believe there was a thread you could search for where some benchmarks/fps pics were posted. -
it's worth the $75 upgrade for the WXSGA+ Matte screen

I have a matte screen and I'm liking it so far. My only warning is that if you look very closely, the screen may appear a bit grainy, as if there is a layer of grease or film over it. This doesn't hinder the overall quality of the screen though, IMO.

Lenovo's build quality has gone down recently. The T61 is not nearly as solid as you would think it is. I have found that the build quality is generally the same across the ThinkPad line - see if you can make your way to a store that has some on display.
I would go with the Sager without a doubt for your needs. It is a better gaming machine and also better suited for multimedia. -

Both the T61p and 8510p are more geared towards business users who demand power for applications such as CAD or modeling rather than gaming.
Have some questions regarding the Sager NP2090
