    I have ordered an np8660 xoticpc.com and to get an idea of my place in line i thought it would be a good iead to find out how many of the people on this site have actually ordered the notebook.

    Haven't ordered my 8660 yet. I need my financial standings to be a little bit more solid, so I can have a clear conscience about the monies I'm going to have spent.

    The wait is killing me too; I go to the xotic sight at least three times a day, just staring at the order in my cart. I'm bordering on obsession.

    gettin 17inch now cuz i realized that np5796 is not that much bigger from the np8660, and i wanted 1920x1200 on 17inch, 15inch is too small for that res.

    I ordered mine on the 15th but I still haven't paid so someone who orders and pays today will have higher priority than me :(

    Yeh man i have no doubt that you will be the first. I'm hoping ill not be far behind.
    I actually know for a fact though that we'll be the only 2 ppl with the 8660 in Ireland. Makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside knowing that your unique don't it?

    Personally, I don't care for pre-ordering, I will only buy something when I know it is ready to ship. I don't want my money sitting in someone elses account making interest for them, when it could be in mine doing the same ;)

    I will wait until they are actually in stock, and also for reviews, and more info in relation to the differences between 8800M GT, GTS, and also 3870.

    Then, maybe I will order one. Probably not though.

    Already ordered and paid for. According to Donald at PowerNotebooks, my 8660 will be amongst the first wave of shipments. And I'll probably be the only person in Afghanistan with one:-D
