I have a 17' sager notebook with dual 8700gt in sli and a core 2 duo e6750
my card driver is 179.28 and im running windows xp sp3
my problem is I have my external monitor a samsung syncmaster 226bw as my primary monitor. I went to NVIDIA control panel, than "set SLI Configuration" and under "2.select the display to view the SLI rendered context on" I chose the syncmaster, the problem is that the monitor is not displaying in its native resolution. In the control panel I have it set to 1680x1050 but the screen it self is set to 1280x1024 (when I check the information with the buttons on the monitor it says "Digital 63.9Khz 60hz PP 1280x1024") This monitor native resolution is 1680x1050 but it is displaying at 1280x1024 how can I make the monitor display at its native resolution ?
Even when I disable the SLI and use dual monitors my laptop monitor is fine showing at 1680x1050 but the syncmaster is still showing at 1280x1024.
I tried installing the monitor driver but didnt help at all.
Even when I look at "Change flat panel scalling" it says the native resolution is 1680x1050 and the current resolution is 1680x1050. But the monitor is still displaying at 1280x1024
hope someone can help me.
any ideas? I have tried everything now.
