This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     This may seem like a stupid question to you folks, but can you use the HDMI on the P170EM as an Input for a PS3?

    It's output only. You can get a USB video capture card with HDMI in.

    As in video capture card do you mean like a haupage HD PVR?

    Yes that would work. It looks like it only has component though which will support your PS3. Look for another one with HDMI so you can do your PS3 and other HDMI devices too.
