I've been researching different models for a month or so now, and I'm starting to get pointed in the direction of the Sager NP5791.

What's the surface heat like on this model? I'll use it for work, 7-8 hours a day. Not gaming, just web stuff and graphics apps.

Will it get toasty under my fingertips or the palm rest area (lower front corners)?

Don't really care about vent heat out the sides, back or hot-lap syndrome, as it's really off my desk. Just top surface/keyboard.

    Thanks in advance,

    Greg

I have my 8700GT on my 5791 overclocked a couple hundred MHZ and it doesn't get very hot at all. I've been uber impressed by its performance. And if you won't be gaming you probably won't notice any heat at all.

well, it depents. I have a T7500 with 8700GT and I think zfactor is correct, the right side is pretty warm sometimes, especially in game..see the picture I attchment..the hightest point was when Bioshock demo was running. the fan is often on and off, sort of loud but works.
