Hey guys so as many of you know i have got my sager 2090 last night. Loving it so far except where i had to pay $200.. etc for shipping so it pretty much came out to $1600 really only thing that is annoying me right now because in the future shop flyer similar laptop but the 8800 gs was 1200.. so yeah.. im kinda really annoyed i had to pay $200 because i got the laptop out of america (bought it from sager)

But my question is does your laptops warm on the left bottom corner near the left side of the touch pad where your left hands palm rests constantly warm??? To me its warm enough to want to take my hand off my laptop and go WOW! WTF.
is it suppose to be like that ???btw im running no apps but xfire and web on battery - power saver

From what I've read, that may be where the hard drive is. Not 100% sure as I don't own one.

Mine gets warm there also. I believe MINIz guy is right though that it is where the hard drive is located. Mine gets warm but it doesn't bother me. Also most of the time mine sits on a Zalman cooler too so that helps a lot.

I have the NP2090, and that is NOT where the hard drive is. The left palm wrist area is where the video card is, and obviously during intense gaming, that area can get a bit sweaty!

You could put a piece of cloth between your palm and the laptop as a buffer, to prevent your hand from feeling as much warmth. It's a good idea in areas of high temperature. During the cold winters, that palm area becomes a welcome heating pad. :D

In the last 3 notebooks ive owned the GPU was always located by the left palmrest, and they all got warm during gaming. After a few years its the shiniest part of my notebook.

How warm does it get doing what tasks? It was only during gaming that mine would become noticable.

For me it's enough to get sweaty, occasionally on a hot day I lift my palm and rub it for a while since it gets a bit sweaty. Not enough to be searing, though. :)
