    Hi,

I just purchased a P150hm that came with 2GB RAM x2 inserted in the primary memory slots (bottom of the laptop).

I want to install a 4GB and 2GB ram as well, however the secondary memory slots are located under the keyboard. In the user manual it only mentioning upgrading primary memory not secondary memory.

What do I do? Is it possible for a user to install secondary memory?

Yes it is. There is a video of how to do it on this forum. Try and search for it. You can also search for the service manual.

Edit: I found this video on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-0SeDlOKBI&feature=related Hopefully I should have a smooth installation. I'm just too nervous to open it up xD.

Ok I managed to open it up smoothly I hope. Is it normal that one of the RAM slots is to be inserted into up side down? Like you have to flip the RAM chip upside down (to the way you normally would install it with the stick facing up) and then insert it.

Yea, the slots are rotated compared to each other on top, it keeps the traces on the motherboard shorter.
