    Hi,

I've been waiting for Toshiba to release the F55-Q503 for some time now and, after plenty of time went by, I went looking for alternatives. The Sager NP8660 seems like the most powerful one, but the problem is, I live in Argentina: therefor, I won't be able to take advantage of warranty and tech support.

I'm looking for all kinds of trouble you've had with this Laptop (even if you could get them to replace your machine/fix your problem).

I'll give it about a week before I decide for this or another Laptop.

    Thanks! :D

So... your question is if there's any resellers located where you are or something else?...

There is an Argentinian Clevo reseller called Bangho. Have you checked them out yet?

I haven't had any trouble with my laptop.

Mainly if you had any trouble. And I didn't know Bangho was a Clevo reseller... I thought they were some kind of Intel subbrand (that's how they were promoted here at least). Thanks for the tip :D

Yeah :) Easily fixable yourself too if anything goes wrong; I haven't seen a laptop whose insides are more accessible (well haven't seen any other Clevos either). Definitely get a notebook cooler (zalman <3) as well, if you can help it; mine runs crazy cool with it on (the M860TU runs cool everywhere except the hard drive area, which gets warm, without a cooler). That's the only trouble that people have had: 55-60Cish HDD temps, under load, for most people in a warm room w/o a notebook cooler.

Isn't it more expensive than the 8660? I tried building 4GB, 2.53, 9800, 7200RPM HD and it was about 2200, against 1900 on the other one

the Sager NP8660 is the Clevo M860TU. Its just rebranding the name but its the same machine no matter what its called. It also depends what seller you are going to for the prices, also check which graphic card they are offering some come with the 9800m gt and some come with the 9800m gts or some resellers offer a mixture of both and let you decide which graphic card you want.

You still aren't telling us where you tried building what or where; christ. And didn't you post this in another thread, in which multiple people also answered that they're the same machine? -.-

Oh wait, that was posted after this :D
