Hi, I just bought a W150 HRM, I would like to install my SSD (MX-DS SSD series, New firmware), but the bios can not correctly identified. I change into a Seagate 7200.4 but no problem.

I installed this SSD into the CD burner position (through the second drive cage), the results of the normal bios identification, and using good.

    Why is this so?
    Thanks

That drive uses a slightly older Sandforce controller. It might be a compatibility issue between it and the SATA 6 Gb/s port in the hard drive bay. The optical drive uses SATA 3 Gb/s, which would explain why the SSD works there.
