    Hello,

I am trying to install the driver for GTX 560m on my P150EM running Windows 8 pro.

In the Device Manager I can find the card under, Other Devices->Unknown Device

    Info on the properties window:
Driver Management has concluded the process to add Service BasicDisplay for Device Instance ID PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1251&SUBSYS_51051558&REV_A1\4&15491A0A&0&0008 with the following status: 0.

I have tried the latest nVidia installer 310.90, 306.97, 306.46 and the 295.62(win7) without success.
I got always the same error:
The graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware.

I realy appreciate any given help.

    Thank you

Have you tried installing a set from laptopvideo2go with a modified inf file first?

try these modified inf/drivers. should work just to get the card recognized and then you can update/upgrade from there.

that's because you didn't use the modified inf file. follow these instructions (under 'installing the driver') and try again. reading always helps.

Oh, sorry I didn't read well.

Now the installer recognizes the hardware but once begins to install I got this error:
    NVIDIA Installer failed

Where I can see the installer error log file?

Problem solved. I installed it directly from device manager with the modded INF.

    Thank you

You should now hopefully be able to install the next set normally.
