Does anyone know where to find the nVidia chipset driver?

For what system?
The Clevo M570RU does not have an Nvidia chipset if you are wondering. -
If you mean for your Sager 5793, it doesn't have an nVidia "chipset", it uses an Intel chipset, the mobile 965.
If you mean the graphics card, the 8800M GTX, then you can use the official Clevo driver from their site * HERE* or get one off of notebookvideo2go.com. I think they have the Clevo driver also. -

All my 3D programs (games) crash like 2 seconds into the game. I have uninstalled driver, ran driver sweeper and reinstalled, I have updated to lastest chipset driver from zfactor's thread and restarted and still not working.
-
did that happen before you flashed the vbios?

It barley started happening yesterday when I *gulp* played with the registry a bit based on a few things I read. I changed all settings back, no help. Then I fully wiped driver and registry (driversweeper) and checked to make sure everything was removed. Then I reinstalled driver and this is still happening.

maybe you need a registry repair tool.

Ok, now I am freaking out. I turned off my CPU OC, and now it works fine! I NEVER had any problem before with OC both CPU and GPU but now I guess it doesn't work?! I was fine for 2 weeks running both OC'ed but NOW?! WHAT?! WTF?!
-
wow, didnt thing that was possible to have both OCed at same time.

eh, the CPU oc really didnt do much anyways, just for kicks
-
Ya I think that im going to flash the default vbios again lol. Seems to me the CPU OC does alot more than the vbios.
-
for gaming, video oc is MUCH more effective than cpu oc, for rendering, etc, cpu is better
-
If you had them OC'd via software then it's entirely possible that when you changed the chipset driver you ended up with bad OC settings that were still based on the old chipset driver, and thus likely to crash the system when the OC tried to do something based on the old driver that gave the new driver indigestion. My guess is that you'll need to redo the OC software after you switch drivers.

Shyster may be on to something.
BJF , have you tried a recovery ? -

When I Originally OC'ed the GPU BIOS I did reinstall the driver and for two weeks I was running both GPU and CPU OC'ed. However, just a few days ago my games started crashing real fast-like; I figured that it had to do with making registry changes, so I changed them back, no help, I removed driver and wiped registry and reinstalled, no help; so I thought that maybe I had messed up the chipset somehow, that is why I was asking about the chipset driver, I installed the new chipset on z's thread, no help. Then Nirvana asked me about the CPU and GPU OC, so I disabled the CPU OC and VIOLA! My games work again. The strange part is how I was able to run for two weeks with both OC'ed, but the strangest part is now that I disabled the CPU OC my games actually run FASTER! I guess both the OCs were congesting my system or something. Well, case closed...
