Hey all! I have been reading posts from the Sager and Clevo section for about a week now trying to decide which laptop to get. I have to say good by to my desktop because I am going into the Marine Corps and have no way of transporting my water cooled computer with me :(

My current budget is right around 2300 give or take a few. I have been looking at the NP5797 or NP9280. Both seem to have what I want, but I would like to know a few things about both that I cant seem to find out for myself. Can you overclock the Core i7 920 in the 9280? Can you overclock the non-extreme processors in the 5797, or do the BIOS not allow that?

Also, what do you guys think I should do? Your input is greatly appreciated! :D

It really depends what you plan on doing. If it's strictly for gaming and general use I'd stick with the np5797. You won't notice a significant difference in gaming with the i7 because the 1x gpu will be the bottleneck. Also only putting 2300 into a 9280 will kind of gimp it, while you can max out a 5797 for less, not to mention the 5797 is a bit more portable and the battery lasts longer.

I'm in the army and have a 9262, and the thing's a huge beast, but it barely fits in my assault bag.
