Ok i bought this when I was deployed and my disk got lost somewhere, I put windows XP on it and now I cant get the audio to work. Here are the specs

any help would be great oyeah I reinstalled the Realtek audio driver but still no sound.

what model notebook is that?
if you check your Device Manager, are any of the devices have a "?" or a "!" next to them?
if not, then you must have installed your audio drivers properly.
try to connect some external speakers or headphones to see if the sound is working properly.
make sure that your Windows Sound is not muted, and the slider to set to max volume.
