Right now I'm really torn between something like the Asus C90s with the 8600GT and the Sager 5760 with the 7950GTX. The 7950 appears to outperform the 8600GT in every way, but the C90 MIGHT be upgradeable. I suppose that the Sager is theoretically upgradeable to the 8800 series when those come out, but that is assuming that they'll be made for the 5760.

The other side is that I could have the Sager next week, while the C90 might be next month.

    UGH. HELP.

Look at the upcoming Clevo M570RU, the next generation of M570U (rebranded as the NP5760). Here is an older news article showing it, and says that it will be getting a Go 8800, but newer information points to the Go 8800 being renamed the 8700M. The 8700M looks to be as powerful or more powerful than the Go7950GTX.

I thought about that, but I really can't spend more than $2000, which is what I can get the M570U for right now. I'd be amazed if I could get the RU for anything near that when it comes out.

the 7950GTX will last for a long time.

it eats 8600's for breakfast. :)

the M570U is still a beast, and the best bank for the buck 17" gaming notebooks.

when the M570RU does appear, I would not say that the price would be near the current M570U... even with the same/similar specs (CPU, RAM, 7950GTX)

So, if i buy a 570U, there is a possibility of them making a 8700GT for it ?
And about the 570RU price, will i be able to buy a 570ru with the spec of my Signature for 3200 or less in June pleaSe?
    Thanks !
