Take any suggestions in what I should change for build. Being mobile is not really a priority just want the best peformance for the money.

what games are you going to play?

from my point of view if mobility really doesnt matter, the P180
due to graphic and double Hard drive + raid

personally, I hate glare screens :D

1st option, but in my opinion go with the Bigfoot wireless.

If mobility isn't an issue, then I would get the P180HM. Either way - both are great deals.

Both should serve you well! The Sager NP8180 / Clevo P180HM does have more storage ability.

If you like that BIG screen experience and do not mind a 12.5 lb machine...go for it! :D

The 8180 / p180 has 3 drives and dual 560m the rest is the same, the 560m sli would outperform the amd6990m no question about it, and getting a extra hd for nearly the same price + raid0, you might want to install win7 to raid0 and have your gaming files on the ssd as 3rd drive.

    bigfoot +1
    1st option +1

I personally went with the 8170 with a 6990 because I didn't want to have to deal with sli problems. That and I needed a machine that didn't look like a gaming machine :)

While the 560m GTX SLI is faster than a single 6990m, it isn't faster by that much.

So, to be honest, it isn't a question of gaming performance, but rather a question of storage vs mobility. To you, does the extra 500GB of HDD space make up for the extra 3.7 lbs that comes with the P180M?

P180HM of course, if even you could put a SLI GTX660M in the future, it would be full of happiness.

Thanks for all the great advice. I will switch to the Bigfoot card. I guess my final decision comes down to screen. Is the 8170 90% gamut screen alot better then the 8180. How is the screen on the 8180. Oh and also how would the heat be between both of em which runs cooler. Thanks for the help
