It's already been pointed out that Nvidia changed/updated its specs on the 9800M GT aroundits release date. This invalidates your Nvidia/wikipedia/google sources.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just pointing out that you're citing sources that were changed at the last minute, which doesn't quite reflect credibility. I'll say this though, Donald/Justin were right about the 9800M GT being equivalent or at least statistically insignificantly different from the 8800M GTX.

This thread is not going to end well.

Donald and I have both stated it is a different core and card altogether.

The 9800M GTX will be the same no matter what chassis its installed into. G94 cores are 96- spu's, while G92 cores are 112+ cores. Since its a different core, undisclosed, we are very able to guess it will be a G92+ core, built on the 55nm fab process. If you want dead set information, then stop asking about it until it comes out. Your not going to get anything as nobody knows the exact details.

I'm aware, I'm just pointing out that there was a rather free ranging discussion about the 9800M GT/8800M GTX before its release.

One side, citing Nvidia's page then, insisted that it had 64 SP's, unfortunately, Nvidia updated its page at the very last minute, invalidating their argument.

I mentioned Donald/Justin as they had insisted that the 9800M GT had 96 SP's.

36.2k ... Not bad. I never benched the 8800M GTX with 3DM03. How does this compare? I know MXM can be ran using special hardware on a desktop, which is how that bench would appear to have been run, if thats a legit picture...

Now, lets start a new game ... we know the GTX will be on the 92 core so the new game should be, not how much it will be better but when the GTX SLI will be available :D :D
