I have had this laptop since it came out no problems, but I feel like I want a better video card for new programs/games.

    Questions:

Where can I find a working instruction to removing exisiting Video card. I have only experience with Pc not laptops.

What Video cards are better than 8800m gtx non sli and where can I buy them to fit in here? Or is it better just buy another 8800m gtx and sli it somehow?

Q6700 8800m gtx non sli 4 gig ram raid 0

or you could run a GTX 280M (make sure you get an MXM 2.1 version card though) but that will not work in sli.

Service manual for disassembly is in my sig (under D90xC/NP926x)

Its better performance with another 8800m but probably not such a great price unless you can find one for around 200$.
You can also use a 9800m GT with the 8800m GTX in SLI, you just have copy the vBIOS from one and flash it to the other.

I believe there is an 8800m GTX with the d900c heatsink in the marketplace right now, though you will have to look through a few pages to find it. Like I said, not a great price but maybe you could get the heatsink at least.

Good luck finding one. The prices are always out to lunch.. This is why I'm reluctant to get a 460 on the new models, as finding a 470/485/6970 in a year or two from now isn't going to be cost effective.

Thats why you dont find it after a year or two but rather during it.
And also work on your finding skills in that year. ;)

My latest laptop came with a 5850 ddr5 but I found a gtx 285m/fx 3800m before I got it for a really good price. If that can happen then I think I can find something else even better in 2 years.
8800m GTX / 9800m GT in particular aren't TOO hard to find. I sold one for 300 not too long ago, but 2 of them sold for around 160 each recently.

Also... see other threads in this section for getting 2x 175$ each 3700m to do SLI as gtx 280m with a little soldering
