I like the sleek designs on these computers and how portable and powerful they are (at least from what I see in Xoticpc), and did some digging on the retailers in Japan (where I'll buy it), and they all have their own contraptions.
Now, I'm looking for a good gaming laptop, and I'm upping my budget to around $1.6k... but I'm not entirely sure what to look for in these.
What are some benchmarks I should look for in a Clevo-Sager gaming laptop?

What you should be thinking about is "What do I need it to do?" or "What am I going to use it for?"
Can you also specify which games you will be playing (or plan to play but they are not yet released). -
Another question to answer before you start looking is what screen size your looking for. i.e.: 13",14",15",17"... obviously, screen sizes determine the overall size of the notebook, as well mentioned above, what you want the notebook to do for you. A very powerful 17" will be able to play games at really high settings, but will be heavier, larger, and have a shorter battery life than a less powerful 17". I made this decision when I bought my NP5793(1 graphics card, 1 hdd) instead of the larger more powerful 9262(2 graphics cards, 3 hhds).

To stay in your price range and still get the ultimate 15.4" gaming laptop I would look at the Sager NP8690.

OP, the model you get depends on what you are using it for. If you need portability, or you need battery life, then you would be better off with a smaller or less power notebook. If you are getting something that is going to sit on a desk all day everyday, then you could get yourself something like a D900F or a W870CU.
