Ok so my new laptop arrives tomorrow and I want to give it a good stress test etc. What are some of the better tools to help test out my new system at this time? Furmark still good for graphics? Prime95 etc.. Let me know if there are better tools its been awhile since I had a new laptop so I want to give it a good workout before loading all my stuff up only to discover it has a problem. Play the games you bought the laptop for. That's what I would do.

check out the monitoring link in my signature below where you can find lots of helpful software like 3dmark11 and vantage etc.

Run 3DMark11 / Vantage and compare your results to the scores at notebookcheck
AMD Radeon HD 7970M Crossfire - NotebookCheck.net Tech
Furmark is good but I think MSI Kombustor is updated more often (it's basically a copy of Furmark). -
benchmark results also in my sig but not for your model clevo
-
I see alot of MSI apps in the list does it matter that this doesnt have MSI branded parts? Any concerns about using them for testing?
-
MSI apps work for all brands and both AMD and Nvidia.

Anyone have thoughts on a notebook cooler? I was thinking Coolermaster U3 since I cant get another Zalman near me.
