I havent really been using my laptop for a couple weeks now due to using my desktop more.

When I turned on my laptop, the computer started making some whining sound. The sound immediately disappeared when I picked up the front of the laptop slightly off the table. When I picked up the front more than 60-70 degree, the whining noise started again.

I now find that the noise become much louder when I put my palm down on the sides of the touchpad. i cannot type without continuously hearing this annoying sound unless I can type while front of the laptop is in the air.

Has anyone experienced this problem, im hoping to get any support regarding this.

I have hearing loss and I dont usually hear any of my hard drives or even fans in my desktop for that matter. If I can hear it this loudly, is there a problem with my hard drive? I personally didnt think there would be any as it does seem to work fine, excluding the insane noise.

explaining a sound is impossible to pinpoint without hearing it.
any chance of recording it with a camera or phone and posting it on here.

also have you cleaned your fans out lately with compressed air. just so we can rule this out.
    also how are your temperatures.

download HW Monitor and HD Tune from HERE

hw monitor will check your temperatures and hd tune will run a test on your hard drive to check for any errors.

I agree with Niff, my M570RU does the same exact thing, and it's the fan.
