A few weeks ago I decided to buy a Sager/Clevo, and after browsing some of the recomended resellers, found out practically NONE accept international credit cards. I tried placing an order on www.sagernotebook.com since I couldn't find any info on the site saying int. credit cards were not acepted... well, a day later I receive an email stating "Sorry we don't accept international credit cards. Please let me know"... just that... I tried to make sense of it and wrote back asking why and telling them it is the only way I can pay since wire transfers and such are restricted in my country so I can't pay that way... the result has been a frustrating week with only 2 replies from sagernotebook.com saying that I could only pay them with wire tranfer (nevermind that I said I couldn't).

This just sucks, I want a Clevo so bad but all the resellers I've checked out so far don't accept int. credit cards, no exception, does anyone know any store that accepts them. Or at least have experience with a store with a soft spot for international buyers with no other way to pay?

    Where do you live?

There are many Clevo resellers/vendors worldwide.

Venezuela... so I can explain just how bad computer retail is in here, if you go up to any average computer parts store, the BEST video card you'll find is a 7600 GS... MAYBE... cause it's more likely you'll just find a 5200 or something like that.

My only hope is an online retailer who accepts int. CC or at least paypal. Cause if I can't get a Clevo/Sager, I'll have to settle for a Dell which I really don't want to do but at least they don't have this stupid policy of not accepting ANY int CC without even checking if the info and the address match.
