Hi guys!
I have 2 laptops, a Clevo P170EM (running AMD Enduro) and just bought a Clevo P370EM (non-enduro).
The Clevo P370EM has 1x 7970M in it with the Vbios BR43595.003 made for P370EM.... and it can hold 2x Radeon 7970M in Crossfire mode, thats why i bought it.
My old laptop P170EM has 1x 7970M in it, which i want to move over to the P370EM as a 2nd VGA, but it has a P170EM vbios on it, so it runs really poorly in the new laptop...
I want to flash the Vbios on the old card, with the Clevo P370EM Vbios mentioned above... but the card wont let me...! what can i do, i hope there are some insane Vbios flashing experts out there?????
I have tried to use Winflash in Windows, loading up the 43959 bios, and then pressing program.... but it is saying error: Mismatch
I have tried to use ATiflash 4.17 from DOS, using the command: atiflash -ai and it finds both cards, but says they have different bios versions, offcourse....
Then i try to flash it from there, with the command: winflash -p 1 new.rom (which i called the romfile)
It says an error! and it didnt do the flash...
Now im out of ideas!!!!! i think Enduro has something to do with it.... the videocards themselves are totally identical, Radeon 7970M Clevo version, v. 1.2 Wimbledon XT

I havent found any solution yet, im on the bring to giving up :/ nobody seems to know how to flash a P170EM VBIOS... replacing it with a P370EM VBIOS, for Radeon 7970M...
Someone must have done it before... -

Have you tried running atiflash.exe in DOS with a following syntax:
atiflash.exe -unlockrom 0 (when the card is in P170EM)
or
atiflash.exe -unlockrom 1 (when the card is in P370EM as a secondary card)? -
