I really need assistance with this weird problem.
Lately, my 9280 is going kaputz, the mouse will stay stuck on the screen, or I can move it, but not able to double click or select anything. In the last option (mouse moves but can't click/select), if I hit alt-ctrl-del, my laptop goes on sleep mode.

When I force a shut down (pressing the power button), and the laptop turns back on, I get a beeping sound, like if I was pressing a keyboard button. I checked and my keyboard is clean, nothing is stuck between or under the buttons. The laptop continues through it regular power on stuff, and log onto windows, with no problem.
I have already done F2 when powering, to see if beep sound is on during startup. It is set to off.

The mouse not working situation does not always happen, maybe once every other day, same for the beeping sound (only occurs after I have a problem with the mouse).

Hope that I explained myself. Would be glad to hear any tests or solutions I can try.

    Regards,
