Maybe you should ask your reseller how to do this because nobody here seems to know.

You need to be more clear with your question, what exactly are you trying to do?

Nothing Intel RST does actually involves a hibernate partition, so I think there is some general confusion here with terminology.

    Rapid start?

You have to enable it in the BIOS and then create a 8GB partition with a special ID. Its typically done in the factory but can be done after if you know what you are doing. Once you make the partition AND enable it in the BIOS THEN you can get the software to install as the installer checks for all that before it will let you install.

How to enable it in bios, I think I almost enable everything in bios. I also create partition according to manual.

I am having the same issue and the xotopic pc people just told me to reinstall to download the newest drivers from the website and try to reinstall and didn't do anything.

Is rapid start even worth it with an SSD drive? Or is this more an option for HDDs? The partition needs to match the amount of ram you have correct?

ok I solved this issue by download driver from website directly

custom gaming laptops - Welcome to Sager Notebooks

click on driver download and check on agreement then find your laptop

Lastly find intel rapid start technology = download and install

Those are the drivers I downloaded in the first place and they didn't work.

If you are using a dedicated ssd for all of your OS needs, then you don't need rapid start. Its for the folks who are still using mechanical drives!

Does this even do anything? I purchased a new HDD and this was the only thing i couldn't get installed (and the Nvidia VGA but i have a 7970 so idk if that matters).

I'd rather not mess with the BIOS so if it doesn't do anything appreciable I won't bother with it.
