I'm trying to figure out what part is failing, and if anyone else has possibly experienced the same issue.

Once this happens, everything is locked up, mouse and keyboard no longer respond.
Sager 9150SE, barely over a year old, and of course out of warranty from XoticPC, the lovely jerks that told me to wait and try re-installing my OS instead of having it sent in for repairs in time.
Thanks to anyone that can offer some help.

That's us, big 'ol jerks
I'm sure we can try to help you out. I don't have the full details of the issue just yet but we were able to locate your account using sleuthing and your NBR ID. I'll see what we can do and I'll have someone from service reach out to you.
EDIT:
Looked into the order a little more with the service team. Warranty has been out since Mid-February on this so it looks like we've been out of that window for quite some time. We'd be happy to assist with an out of warranty repair. Looks like a bad GPU. You might be able to fiddle with the display cable a bit and see where you get with that though. -
I'm quite aware that its been out of warranty since February, which is after the problem initially started. Its only now just gotten so bad that it's happening three+ times a night. And yes, I'm aware that I can send it in for an out of service repair, which I was quoted in excess of $900 if it turned out to be the NVidia GPU. NOT exactly what someone wants to hear when they've already dropped more than $2200 on what should be a reliable brand of computer.
What I don't believe is that its the NVidia GPU since the NVidia GPU isn't even active when the problem is occurring. -

If that turns out to be the case then you won't need to worry about that $900 estimate as we wouldn't need to do that replacement. There is just only so much troubleshooting that can be done through the web or phone. Helps to have your hands in the machine to figure out what's making it tick incorrectly. They'd be able to update you the determined cause, the cost of repair, etc... prior to charging you. If you don't want to do it, it's just as simple as denying it to be done and have it shipped back to you. That way you know what the problem is and you can keep an eye out for a good priced part to pick up on your own which you can install yourself.
The machines are plenty reliable, it's just a risk with electronics in general as it's next to impossible to be able to tell one GPU will last x amount of time but the next off the line will last y amount of time instead. Which is why warranties are offered to help mitigate that risk for a small offset cost. You do have our sympathy that it happened when it did, it is very unfortunate, but we're a slave to the warranty terms ourselves and we can't dictate as to what happens. -
I had a similar problem on my NP8130 and it did turn out to be the GPU. If they diagnose it as the GPU then you could have them send it back to you and pick up a used one on this forum or fleabay for cheaper. Have you ever experienced this in, say, the BIOS screens, or is it only in Windows? Have you run memory tests and checked your temperatures?
