Hi guys
First time poster here so I apologise if I have missed any of the rules about posting stuff. After doing some research, a lot of it by reading through all of the great posts on this forum, I have decided that the Evoc P650HS-G is the best choice for me. What really sold me was the Prema BIOS and the great feedback people were giving. However, I am having some difficulty deciding on the final specs to go with and would appreciate some advice from members of the forum.
I would mainly be using my laptop for playing games, streaming content, browsing and basic work using MS Office. I am not expecting to do any content creation or anything else too intensive. I am currently not in the US, but a friend from the US will be bringing it over for me in January. I have included my current build below which comes out to $2 433.

1) Is it worth getting the minimal backlight bleed? $100 is expensive, but I also don't want to end up with a brand new laptop with a screen with backlight bleed so bad that I cant ignore it.
2) I don't think the 7820HK is worth it for me as the main thing I am interested in is gaming and any other task would not be very CPU intensive. From what I can tell the 7820HK would run quite a bit hotter and I wouldn't get a very big performance difference in gaming.
3) I think 16GB's of RAM should be sufficient for my needs right now. I have decided to go with the standard 2400MHz in a 2X8GB config in order to get dual channel and it is also cheaper than 1X16GB by about $40. As far as I know I wouldnt get much benefit out the G.Skill 2666MHz RAM. How difficult is it to upgrade capacity in the future if needed?
4) In terms of storage options, I wouldn't really get any benefit out of a NVME drive so I have decided to skip out on that. I have an 850 EVO 500GB in my desktop which I am very happy with at the moment, but it is starting to fill up very quickly and with games constantly getting bigger I wanted to go a bit bigger so I opted for the 1TB in my current build.
The other alternative I guess is opting for an 850 EVO 500GB from HIDevolution and then putting in my other hardrive from my desktop and setting it up in RAID0. I haven never used RAID before so I don't really have much insight into how well it works and whether it is worth it. It looks like slotting in another hardrive is pretty straightforward though.
5) I don't live in the US so I think that I will be able to sleep a bit better at night knowing that if something does go wrong I can ship it back to get it resolved. I had a brief look at shipping prices and it looks like I would be in for around $200 each way so I think i have to go with the global warranty. The 1 year global warranty seems like an absolute necessity in case I end up with any issues straight after purchasing the laptop, but I am trying to decide if its worth getting the 2 year or 3 year warranty. Have owners experienced many issues where you have had to send the laptop back after 1 year?
6) Any other advice?
Thanks very much.

I am currently living in South Africa, but I am going to be spending a few months in Thailand next year. After that, I will probably be back in South Africa.
