    Hallo all.

    Some info:

    Current Bios - 1.00.06
    EC/KBC Firmare - 1.00.04

The problem is that the notebook is going into black screen at random times (that how it seems like). Its
not problem with screen - iv hooked it to an external monitor from the vga port and its goes to black screen
on both with no warning .
there is no beeps whatsoever and the cpu fan is starting to spin really fast as soon as the blank black screen
    appearing.

At first i was thinking it was a heat problem so iv re-applied some new thermal paste (several times, high
quality paste) on both the CPU & GPU and after that monitored the temperatures with Real Temp.
i was able to lower down the temps by 15 degrees but i doesnt help , i saw that the blank black screen
issues is appearing at various temps (even 60 degree celsius witch is low for notebook). the issue is
independent on the OS - its even occurring when im in bios.

I tried to test the CPU with LinX - and the cpu goes upto 92 celsius temps with no errors , witch led me
belive that its probably not a heat problem (at least not of the cpu).

Plz help me solve this problem. meanwhile i was able to reach to the cmos battery and reset the bios. but i
wanna flash it too. i cannot find the info for bios flashing nor the proper files or anything on the matter on
Clevo site or any other for my model, il be more then happy if u can help.

is it a battery saving feature? go to your power options (right-click on the battery icon) and click on change plan settings.. see what it says :)

Well the notebook itself is on and the screen is shutting down, the light indicators are stop from flickering, the cpu fan is speeding up to very high speed, no sounds, no beeps, no indication of "thinking" or any processing.
the notebook is going into coma state where nothing is responsive.

also iv checked the RAM and the HDD with Memtest86 & Hitachi fitness tool and found no problems.

im open to suggestions and more info plz.

does this laptop have a dedicated gpu or is it soldered onto the mobo?

indicator lights shut off? wonder if you've got a short somewhere.. causing the screen and indicator lights to lose power.. also giving cpu fan more voltage causing it to speed up? idk.. just throwing stuff out there

might be time to contact your reseller if no one else has anything to say?

    Tnx for your efforts.

The indicator lights dont shut off but they are stuck in constant light position, i mean they stop flickering & there is no thinking or any type processing (thats how it looks like)

    The GPU is:
VIA Chrome 9HC™ IGP Prerelease WDDM 1.1 (on mobo)
    by S3 Graphics.

    The Chip is:
VIA VN896 Integrated Video System (Internal On Chip) - on the mobo

The reseller is long gone (and so as the warranty). keep suggesting maybe something will come up, i wish more ppl will answer on the thread, tnx man

Well.. This is beyond my knowledge. Hard to diagnose without actually having the thing to mess with.

Time for my default technical problem solution lol:
-contact one of the resellers on here. Ask them if they have the bios/drivers for you to try to reflash/reinstall..
-if that doesn't work, maybe contact mythlogic. Was hoping he'd comment on here, but I know he's busy building and doing work at the store. You could send him a pm on here, explain the issue, and see if maybe he has a solution

    Thanks a million Mythlogic!
