    Ok, heres my config.

    P9500,
    9800 GT
    320 GB 5400
    4 GB DDR3 RAM

Ill post any other tests you want me to run.

Everything on 3dmarks 06 was default, i didn change anything. Running vista x64, with some processes i guess... altho, i don't think that those processes can bring it down by.... 5k points.

im stuck i dunno wat to do!!!!!!!!!!!

a thing to note... on the submitted 3dmark website thing, it says that the GPU is generic VGA///

    help plz

Try getting a new set of NVIDIA drivers from Laptopvideo2go.com. It sounds like a driver problem since you said that Windows reports your 9800m GT as a "Standard VGA graphics adapter."

The system must be using a basic Windows/NVIDIA driver or something. Just go to Laptopvideo2go.com and look near the top right corner of the page to find the latest driver available for your version of Windows Vista. Good luck!

make sure the power cable is plugged in tight. when i ran 3dmark with the notebook unplugged, even with high performance mode, i got a very similar score.

I got the same score after I had played around with silent mode and even when I turned silent mode off it still showed a low score. I had to reboot to get back to a normal 9400 score. This might need a bios update or something cause it seems that silent mode once active does not go away till reboot?

It might be what you said blade. I updated my drivers, and rebooted, everything seems fine now.. is it jus me, or is the GPU temp a lil bit high.

3dmark sill reports it as standard vga, so im pretty sure it wasn't teh drivers.
